Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme 2026: A Gateway to Real-World Experience for Youth
The Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme has been launched by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) under the Government of India. Under the said scheme, the government had decided to provide internships to one crore youths in the top 500 companies, and the government has five years to complete this objective. Under the said scheme, youth will be made familiar with real-life business environments across varied professions and employment opportunities for 12 months.
Candidates selected under the scheme will be provided Rs 4500 by the Government of India in the form of monthly assistance and Rs 500 by the industry. Candidates will also be offered a one-time grant of Rs 6000 for incidentals. The internship tenure is for 12 months.
