Income Tax Department releases FAQs on Transition from IT Act 1961 to 2025
Today Income Tax Department has notified Income Tax Rules 2026. They are applicable with effect from 1st April 2026.
Besides this, the Department has released 99-Page Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on Transition from Income Tax Act 1961 to Income Tax Act 2025.
Besides this, the department also released FAQs on 190 Forms notified as per Income-tax Rules, 2026.
Today Income Tax website has just undergone a massive structural upgrade.
This clearly shows, that department is preparing itself for shift to New Income Tax Act 2026.
